Message from the President
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Mexican Specialized Financial Entity Association (AMFE) web site. This site groups together Mexico´s most solid Intermediate Financial Institutions in the country that act as the principal lenders to Mexican families and businesses.
Backed by a 15 year trajectory, the AMFE has demonstrated its capabilities of being an active and dynamic association with formal recognitions from both national and international organisms. The Association has participated in an enormous way in the generation of a historical 17 million authorized credits and has contributed in the creation of over 27 thousand direct jobs throughout the Mexican Republic.
Its antecedent was the Mexican Association of Limited Object Financial Societies (AMSFOL) founded in 1994 and originally grouped the Sofoles. This association was the first successful phase of a group of businessmen with a vision. This vision helped them create an Association with the profound commitment towards reactivating the country´s economy in a time when credit was scarce. In the year 2006, AMSFOL changed its social denomination to AMFE in order to amplify its status and incorporate the Sofomes and other financial figures.
I am confident that this vehicle of information and communication will allow you to obtain all of the information that you need regarding our activities. It is our commitment to maintain, better, and renovate this site on a permanent and constant basis.
Through this portal, we intend to leave a precedent of constant workmanship, professionalism and business ethics of our Association and those of the Limited Object Financial Societies (Sofoles y Sofomes) and the rest of the specialized entities that AMFE represents. We hope that our site will be of great use and interest to all of our distinguished visitors.
